Verily I have made my position clear that, depending on the medium, they display various degrees of anthropomorphic behavior. And I highly disagree with the last sentence, barring the lover bit. Pokémon teaches us to treat the Pokémon with compassion and kindness. Even if a Pokémon isn't a person and is closer to a pet and being a fantastical beast doesn't mean they can't be a family member or even a child. I don't need to remind you lot that we have inscription of Greek and Roman dog owners showering their pets with praises, calling them members of the family and one even describing their dog as a foster child. That is a bit malicious.
Aside from that nothing he makes is out of hand. He's just someone who was more keen to reach a similar conclusion but in a more grim way. In a similar way I found people coming to parts of the same conclusion, obviously keen minds not blinded by their own inane feelings towards Pokémon.
