I remember when the general consensus regarding pokemon was gen 1 was great, gen 2 was God tier, and 3 and everything after was absolute dog shit.
Now if I see some generation discussion going on it seems like most people will say 4 or maybe 5 are the best and 1 and 2 are low tier.
