>>49224511I honestly don't see what's so great about BDSP. Apart from the Underground, the game honestly bored me. What I found most strange were the NPCs placed in the most random locations. I remember I came across some lady with a Bidoof in the patch of grass on the route east of Hearthome (Route 209, I think) who said she wanted to participate in contests or something similar. I checked in the originals because I didn't remember her and she wasn't there. What was even the point of adding her when she doesn't do anything and the games are literal 1:1 remakes in other regards? On the other hand, ORAS felt different enough that it gave a different experience, so I honestly prefer ORAS to BDSP. The remixes and soundtrack of BDSP are better than the remixes ORAS though (and even in LGPE, HGSS, and FRLG), I'd give you that.
