Nah, they don't (and aren't) supposed to stop you catching them. They're to stop you getting fucked sick by it (I know a rake of vacc'ed people who caught it still. None ended up in hospital over it though, much less on a vent like the unvacc'ed still are ending up in my country). Damn that's some copium. The vaccine was designed to prevent the transmission and spread of covid. But when the media couldn't keep the bursting lid closed on the contrary the narrative changed to it was never never supposed to stop covid, just make you get less of a boo boo when you do. >Pokemon Ranger holds a real nostalgic place in my heart, i've replayed the first one last year and played Shadow of Almia for the first time, both still very solid spinoffs (and you can still get a Manaphy egg in gen 4 with a copy of Ranger)
>Mystery Dungeon is also good, but can get tedious in the early-mid game, but they're worth sticking through for the plots which are fairly solid by pokemon standards
>Pokemon Link/Trozei is a neat puzzle game, basically the precursor to Shuffle. It's nothing too special but copies are generally pretty cheap and it's a fun timewaster with a basic "adventure" mode
>Dream Radar is only worth playing for the Therians, Dream Ball HA legendaries and random other mons/items if you need them in gen 5, play Face Raiders instead if you're really in it for the gameplay
>Colosseum is shorter than a normal mainline game but is more challenging and has AI that uses strategy, haven't played XD but it's apparently similar

Haven't played Conquest but i've heard good things about it, and I vaguely remember playing Rumble Blast on the 3ds but I don't remember enough about it to recommend it.
