Gen 1 was my first introduction to the series and I my first friend/crush got me into it
Gen 2 was where I made a deep friendship with a friend who would later become a pen pal until our families had a fall out
Gen 3 was where I made most of my old and new friends as I was moving away
Gen 4 was where I found some of my life long friends from middle to high school
Gen 5 was where I began feeling too old for Pokémon as it was really different and my high school friends were acting full blown retard over romances
Gen 6 was great because I played it along with my first real relationship
Gen 7 was where I never finished playing a Pokémon game and over all stopped wanting to play.
Gen 8 I didn’t bother buying but one of my Gen 4 friends gave me a copy for Christmas, I beat it and gave it to my little brother
My little brother later got me a copy of BD.
So they all are some sort of trip down memory lane.
