Day 14 of looking for shiny ralts in pokemon emerald. 1 in 8,192 chance walking around on route 102. Got a shiny wurmple and poochyena back to back this morning, bringing the total to 4 shinies that aren't ralts

Why? The shiny ralts is easily available in DP with the pokeradar

Once I catch shiny ralts, I'm going to get all of the gen 3 ribbons in emerald, leafgreen, and xd / colleseum. Then transfer to gen 4 and get those ribbons, and so on. Until I have all the possible ribbons you can get on one pokemon

It's 1 in 8,192 chance of getting a shiny, but ralts is only 10% chance using the repel trick. So it's 1 in 81,920 chance of shiny ralts if I can do basic math right.

There's one for purifying a shadow pokemon. I could get that one on ralts but you can't get a shiny ralts in the GC games so I'm skipping that ribbon. The other ribbon is for beating 100 trainers in mt battle in either game
