Why is Ice weak to Fighting? Why is Rock and Ground not merged into Earth since they are so similar? Why is Ground effective on Poison? Why is Fighting effective on Steel? Make no sense.

Poison is supposed to be the "slowly kill" type but they lack defense and have too many weaknesses.
Wish they would just remove some weaknesses to Poison or give it better moves for offensive play.
