>>49237993I like Pikachu. It's one of the most standout designs and holds up really well to this day. They chose the right one; cute as an Eevee or Vulpix, and as visually unique as an Electabuzz or Gyarados. Not too generic animal, very simple and not too weird. In terms of marketability they could not have picked a better design in the original 151 honestly (sorry Bulbasaurfags)
Their attempts at recapturing that Pikachu-ish design have been very hit and miss however.
