TLDR: Need help putting together an Alolan GEN VII lineup

So my brother gave me his 2DS and some games he used to play. Pokemon Sun is one of them and I've started playing it looking to get a new fresh pokemon experience. Context: I played Gen I and II as a kid, then a bit of V and VI casually with a friend.

I'm nearly done with the trial of Mallow. i'm quite enjoying the game, but I realise my team is primarily from early generations. Which is "classic" in a way, but kinda sucks because I wanted a new-renewed experience with the franchise. My lineup looks like this

- Dartrix (New Starter)
- Pikachu (Gen I, but has Alolan Evolution)
- Growlithe (Gen I) (Considered going for Marowak because he's Alolan Ghost/Fire... but his base stats seem to be shit)
- Gyarados (Gen I) (Considered going for Psyduck because he's goofy)
- Misdreavous (Gen II, Ghost and Psychic pokemon are my favorites flavor-wise)
- Bagon (Gen III)

Would you be so kind to help me get a decent/balanced lineup that feels a bit "fresher", ideally mostly from the new game (Gen VII)? If not from this particular game, at least having a "beach", tropical, or somewhat similar vibe.
