Imagine being Psyduck and watching your friend Slowpoke (who is Water/Psychic) be top-tier in Gen 1 while you're complete trash, but despite that Slowpoke is the one to get a second braching evolution in Gen 2, then a mega in Gen 6, and a regional form in Gen 8. Meanwhile you get absolutely nothing ever and remain one of the few absolute bottom-tier Pokemon in existence.
