Gen 5 was based for not including any and letting its mons stand on their own
Gen 6 didn’t have any evolutions, they had a faggy gimmick that used the same name (except Sylveon, which was cool)
Gen 7 didn’t have any evolutions, it had a faggy gimmick that didn’t even bother calling itself evolution
Gen 8 finally decided to add cross-gen evos back to mainline games, but instead of doing it the normal way (Gen 2-Gen 4), they decided they had to continue the Gen 7-specific faggy gimmick. Not to mention that it was mostly just more of the same Gen 7 gimmick with no actual evolutions.
Gen 5 was visionary
Gen 6 was a disaster
Gen 7 didn’t even try
Gen 8 was a step in the right direction, but didn’t do enough to actually be “good”
