Not just for the contests where you can make the optimal movesets to crush them easily, but could function decently in the frontier.

If XD didn't shiny lock, I'd probably have already chosen Duskull.

Yeah, the IV situation is really no good.
I could, in theory, take the time to do it legitimately but I don't have -that much- time to waste.

Also, do you care if it turns out to be male?
I doubt you'd be waiting until finishing gen 3 to evolve a Gallade nor would you want to use a Kirlia in the battle frontier with subpar IVs.
