>>49243296Just beat Inclement Emerald with this team.
Pachirisu with fur coat was incredible, nuzzled the shit out of the enemy and brought physical attackers to their knees with its charm.
Typhlosion was strong, especially once he got Eruption. Earth Power and Eruption blew through many of the enemies, and with Gigalith setting up sandstorm he dominated double battles.
Seismitoad was mostly useless all game since nearly everyone had a grass move to ohk her, but I never got around to replacing her. She was good for buying time with water absorb or taking a hit for a teammate at least
Noivern had its moment early but was pretty weak until Pachirisu got light screen, which let Noivern get off a nasty plot or two before sweeping as much as he could.
Gengar was pretty good at filling gaps the rest of the team couldn't cover, but was mostly useless until I got the mega ring. Comboing Gengar and Noivern in double battles was great since Gengar was immune to boomburst's 140 bp
Gigalith was my sandstorm and stealth rock setter, dropping him in before Typhlosion was one of my go-to combos. Stalling sandstorm damage with Pachirisu(who had leftovers) saved many fights.
Pachirisu saved my first and only elite four run. It was down to just him and Steven's Milotic, Pachirisu at 30 hp while Milotic was fresh. Pachi outsped the Milotic so got a nuzzle off, and luckily she got stunned by the paralyze. I used light screen right after, and Milotic got another stun from paralyze. Then I spammed volt switch, my only real attacking move, and each time Milotic finally got an attack through Pachirisu would survive with a sliver of HP, recovering just enough from leftovers to survive the hit.
It took 6-9 volt switches for Milotic to go down, each time Pachirisu barely surviving a hit when one got through paralysis. I've never had such an organic plotarmor-like moment in pokemon before
