We get a new gen every three years. "But GF have been breaking patterns!"

This is a TPC pattern, they demand a new gen every 3 years to push out a new anime and new merch. They will NOT delay gen 9. It will be as rushed as previous games and no matter how you scream about patterns breaking, this one won't.

regardless of wether or not gen 9 is coming soon or if it will even be gen 9 I still think that namibia would make for a very cool region nonetheless and I know nonoe except me cares but I do care and thats what matters I think it would make such an awesome region its got cool african fauna and a lot of arid desert-y terrain which gamefreak seems to love its literally the region of my dreams

I like the idea of somewhere like iceland or greenland. A region thats very sparse with only a few settlements and is very heavily focused on the routes rather than the cities. A cool idea would be a pokemon game in a sparse region humans have only recently discovered and it was your job to map it out and actually be the one to discover the new pokemon and pave the routes and found the towns. But of course that would be unique, and we're talking about game freak here so...
