its the opposite actually, bdsp is the real deal that released during the usual prime month (november), PLA instead is the fodder that gets released in a weird time literally a few weeks before pokemon day, which is when the next real deal will be announced for the next november.

Because they remake older Gens every time they jump hardware and after hoennbabs cried for 4 solid uyears for a hoenn remake till it was finally confirmed, they knew it was better to continue shotting out remakes, to please the babbies. That it makes them money on top is another attractive factor.

Youre genuinely stupid if you think GF put so much effort into a "filler" game. Its possible that they couldnt get arceus done in time so they contracted ilca to rush a faithful remake to meet the holiday season and then planned to release their actual game in January as some sort of tied promo
