This is the best Pokemon route. Your friends fight you you one last time before saying goodbye and wishing you good luck in fighting the Elite 4 and N, the somber music signifying you're near the end of your journey. It's all so good.

It's ok. It's just too short and felt unrewarding. B2W2 did the pre-Victory Road Route better IMO.

I think what makes Route 10 work so well is you know the stakes are higher than they've ever been at the end of a Pokemon game. Usually you dispense with the evil Pokemon team on a side mission between the 7th and 8th gyms, this time Team Plasma and N have clearly been set up to be the final boss. Route 10 is your last chance to reflect on your journey before throwing yourself into the fire.

Good taste. Finding out Kanto is in the game to that music is quite possibly Pokemon's greatest moment.
