if by blurb you mean the japanese text, top talks about "seamless battle" where, unlike previous games, "you still input move commands, but rather than turns its like ATB" (cuts off here) and the bottom just says your trainer can take damage from wild pokemon attacks and enough damage will end the battle like we heard in the trailer

My guess is that they were referring to the Final Fantasy X turn order and got the terminology mixed up since Final Fantasy is associated so heavily with ATB.
