Reaction videos have exploded in the last few years or so, people just like watching their favorite content creators form their thoughts and opinions about stuff they enjoy or might be interested in. It's not too different from how people recommend things IRL for the sake of dumping their hypefixations on somebody else (though I'm pretty sure Etika killed himself because of all the recommendations, since this was right after him begrudgingly watching JoJo)
