people would've been a lot nicer to this game if it was just one version. Making it 2 got people thinking it was gonna be B2W2 levels of changes and then they got disappointed when it turned out to be like every other third version.

True. If we deserved good games, then we wouldn't have bought Sun and Moon and showed them that it was okay to keep getting worse and worse.
Gen 6 was supposed to be the bottom of the barrel, there is zero excuse for the succeeding generation on the SAME HARDWARE to be even worse.
