You're right but that is a terrible design. Wilted leaves look like shit, black for no reason, skull, lit pumpkin. Whoever drew that needs to see a real pumpkin operation.

pumpkin should be whole pumpkin, it's a part of the body so carving seems oddly cruel.
Leaves and vines are fine, it fts with the pumpkin growing on it.
Skull pattern can go.
Body should be a muddy brown or some sort of green.
