It probably has a steeper learning curve then using the stylus and I'm not all that far in (around the grimer mission, 3 hours or so) but it hasn't been too hard so far, tho i can see it getting annoying as i continue. OG Ranger was always the hardest game tho so i imagine these problems apply even less on the sequels.
