The DS was easily the golden age for spinoffs. The pinnacle of Mystery Dungeon, Ranger trilogy, Conquest, all on the same console. Then Pokemon Go came in and washed away any chance we ever get a new golden era. Im very appreciative of New Snap, Pokken, and Mystery Dungeon DX, but considering how much the switch has boosted sales, and how many mobile pokemon games they put out instead, i still feel like it could be so much better.
