It's actually refreshing that they've held themselves back from revealing so much.
I feel like with recent games they practically showed us the whole roster if new mons before the games came out.

I can't wait to get my hands on this game and have my very first encounter with a Hisuian Arcanine be in-game. Haven't had that kind of experience since gen 4

Honestly I’m so fucking sick of old formula so even if it will be kinda boring or repetitive it STILL will be better and more refreshing than just your typical Pokémon game with gyms and 1000 and 1 youngster joe.

So far it is like 50/50 imo. Some shots from trailers are nice while others are outright atrocious..

Yeah basically this post exactly. Although, I care a lot more about leaks for the new forms than the new gameplay. I don't think I'd mind if I didn't learn much else about how it actually plays until after it releases, but I really want to see the designs and types of the new guys. That's always the most exciting aspect of any new pokemon game imo.
