>>49272334>Sun and Moon onwards do not have the National Dex.This is objectively correct, of course. However, this is not mentioning the fact that while the Natdex itself isn't physically present, it's function is still present in SM and it wasn't untill SWSH that even the function itself was removed from the game and relegated entirely to a subscription service.
>Sun and Moon onwards do not omit it for any reason other than to sell it back as a subscription service.
As mentioned earlier, SM still doesn't technically omit it because the feature is still present in the game for all intents and purposes.
>Sword and Shield do not allow transfers outside of the regional dex, because obviously there is no National Dex and no one cares about it.False, people very much cared about it and that's why there was an entire massive outrage surrounding it's removal, something that if you'll remember was not present around SM so they're not comparable situations.
>Sun and Moon onwards are extremely lacking in all other departments as well, so it's not like they cut it so as to save precious development time. You can say this about any game after Gen 5, most especially Gen 6.
>Sun and Moon onwards rely entirely on Kanto pandering and some flashy gimmick, a trend that took root in Gen 7.Sun and Moon do not feature the National Dex.
This is absolutely false. The trend of Kanto pandering and the dismayal of fans surrounding it first sprung up from XY, not SM. It was XY that had things like copy pasted RBY maps, forced kanto Pokémon encounters, kanto gift starters less than one hour into the game, copy pasted story events from RBY etc. And do I even have to mention Mega evolution, which was what started the bangle gimmick trend to begin with?
