GameFreak got too lazy to add area evolutions in gen 8, so they just let them evolve through stones. Same happened with Leafeon and Glaceon

yeah since sword and shield, all location-based evolutions got changed to stone evolutions

I think in bdsp, BOTH the weird rocks and leaf/ice stone are applicable for eevee to evolve into leafeon/glaceon

Well I definitely appreciate it. Better than having to wait until 30 hours ingame just to evolve one or two Pokémon.

Nigger, removing the stupid location-based evolutions was one of the few things they did right. Not having Eevee evolve with the Leaf Stone and Ice Stone after the latter was introduced was dumb, as was shoehorning in some magnetic location in every region after Sinnoh.

Expect runerigus evo to change in future titles as well. I have to admit I’m having a good laugh at the autism in this thread. Of all the things to get upset over, changes in evolution should be at the bottom of people’s lists.

Yet you have to take damage and then level up under that arch for runiggerass or however you spell it. They just didn't have anywhere reasonable to put an electric rock or cave.

one of the chaddest electric mon
>no use of stupid lightnings
>no weaknesses
>immune to hazard without the need of boots
kind of held back by the stats tho but in the story you can use whatever you want

That power plant is in hammerlocke and has no Pokémon in it and is the place you fight Eternatus. Also it’s run on wishing piece power and not the traditional power used in Sinnoh or Kanto.

Why didn't they update Espeon, Umbreon and Sylveon's evolutions to be able to use the Sun, Moon and Shiny Stone respectively while they were at it?
