I'm still having a hard time believing that Ursaring is getting an evolution, not just because I can't imagine this big bear becoming an even bigger bearer bear but it's mostly the BST numbers that are messing with my head. Like you could say the same for Rhydon or Mr. Mime but 485 to 535 and 460 to 520 are still pretty reasonable IMO, is Ursaring's evo gonna have like 550 BST? Maybe it'll make more sense when we actually see it I guess

Evolution might be faster depending on the stat allocation, but I can't help but thinking they'll go the Scyther/Scizor (likely Kleavor too) route, where the BST stays the same but utilized more efficiently.

Just hope it's a cool ferocious quadruped bear, because we're seriously lacking one with them all being bipeds. The ground type may mean it'll be one of those massive cave bears with the markings of a short faced bear.

it's really not very bulky at all when you can't hold leftovers and have zero recovery options outside of rest.
sure you go from taking one hit to two hits, but you lose almost HALF your damage output due to not having guts facade and being forced to rely on double-edge, which causes recoil, offsetting the bulk of eviolite.

Other Pokemon got different Special Defence than their original Special was, the Rhyhorn line just got shafted.
