I'm an /o/ tourist attempting Gen 1-7 using my phone posting weapon. I'm in gen 1 right now. Will this team help me beat the elite 4 and Gary?

You can beat the game with anything but you're pretty set.

special attack and defense are the same in gen 1 so you have a great pokemon and psychic is op in gen 1
>Vaporeon
solid water type
>Snorlax
normal types are super strong in gen 1, it's no taruos but it's good enough
>Venusaur
if it still knows leech seed, teach it toxic and you'll have a broken combo
>Dragonair (soon to be Dragonite)
strong and it's only really scared of the rare ice type move
>Clefable
can learn almost any tm and do anything in gen 1

Yes I could but this is my first time attempting this challenge and the only pokemon I used to play on my phone is FireRed and SoulSilver. I wanna attempt to beat Gameboy Colour to 3DS era pokemon on this here phone.

My Clefable almost single handedly destroyed the entire elite four with its Minimize/Rest/Body Slam/Ice Beam combo at level 43. You should be fine, the AI in this game is kind of shit.

OP here I heard they are some side missions in this game in order to get the desired TMs (i.e Ice Beam) where could I find it?

Marcel can solo the e4 with proper TMs and full restores. use x special one time and sweep

you will be fine this game is piss easy thanks to badge boosts and being able to use items in battle, don't worry it is literally made for babies I beat it with nidoqueen when i was 5
