Why are you all talking as it's a small map? I think it's pretty big for only one of five areas.

Don't see any problem here. Especially because the world seems more like a real life world anyways (which a lot of open areas without anything special - like if you would travel through something like this for real)

It's not bad for this game.
Yes, it's not as big as muh heccin BOTWerinos, but let's face it:

There's trainer battles in one of the trailers. I think you fight the redhead at some point. There's probably just not very many trainer battles, which I would consider a good thing.

the visuals are beyond saving.
but the bigger problem is definitely the gameplay. it will be so repetitive and boring, and I doubt many people will enjoy it after the initial few hours of hype and excitement.
