>>49282857>Strong japanese setting (Pulseman, Bushi Seiryuden, early pokémon)>experimental game for its kind (even if I must say a lot of non-pokémon GF games tend to experiment and blend genres together, not always in a good way like LTH)>Battles remind somewhat Pokéspe or early pokémon concept arts, where Humans themselves are involved in the battle (Tajiri endorsed Pokéspe, saying it's the series that better resembles the world He was trying to convey with Pokémon)>No gimmick bullshit (That would be an Ohmori game)>Pokémon game focussed on gameplay and catching pokémon and not human characters (again, a trait of an Ohmori game) or plot (Masuda game)>Harder difficulty (it seems)Again, it may not be him, but anyway it seems to me that pokémon is coming back to its roots with this game, and honestly i like it.
The only thing that seems off is art direction (new character/pokémon), but then again that's due Sugimori (either his new art style or the fact that he isn't the main art director anymore).
