I've been playing since Red and Blue. I've never been into the whole "collecting" aspect of Pokemon, I actually like very rarely catching new pokemon, each generation I've only gotten like 6-9 new ones. Here's my collection, or my hypothetical "oak's lab" so to speak, what do you guys think of my choices over the last 24 years?

The shinies are the ones with stars on them, and I don't really keep starters besides Blastoise, for being my true first Pokemon. Emboar gets a pass because Unova is based on my region of the world, and when B/W came out I took a trip to the New York Pokemon center with a friend and we each gifted each other our new american starters, I consider Emboar a sort of irl gift Pokemon.

I think it's interesting how often I ended up double dipping with Pokemon types considering how much I self limit the size of my collection.
