>>49295061Absolutely. For a franchise so fucking stuck on "KANTOOOOO" and constantly promising to "meet again someday" they sure didn't really do much with any of the characters Ash met in his travels.
At the same time though I really don't want to see those characters written by the modern day pokemon writeres, making everyone spastic and hyper, or overly polite and sanitized. I liked the original season because everybody was kind of a dick and there was a lot of entertaining banter, feels like they don't do that anymore, and if they do it's realy softballed.
