>Throw food at the tree in the distance until a Pokemon falls outIt's 100% possible and not very hard. Are you looking at the right tree? It's the big cherry blossom in the field. Meganium should stop to sniff the crystalbloom. At this point I'm not entirely sure if it's reliable or RNG but you should be able to throw an orb at the crystalbloom at a certain point while it's sniffing it. This will trigger Meganium to run around the back of the tree instead of its usual path.
Throwing fruits at the tree trunk will cause combees to fly out. Throwing the fruit a higher to the right on the trunk/branch makes a Hoothoot fall out. You want to make the Hoothoot fall onto Meganium as Meganium passes under the right side of the tree.
