My bro was so much better with his Mega, especially when using Prankster Destiny Bond and Taunt. Also love the design and concept.
I'm not an apologist of Megas for the already ultra popular and broken Pokémon, but things like Mawile and Banette needed them.

It's weird that GF seems to be done with Megas but literally every other aspect of the series still uses them. Literally the Gen 8 anime airing right now has Ash with a Mega Lucario.

They could make it so that if it's a shillmon it just changed form instead of permanently evolving. The different forms could have the same bst but different typing and stat distributions.
