cynthia is low-key one step ahead of him the entire time. she grew up in a household that passed on the regional myth and lores and familiarity with them is pretty much her birthright. everyone's so distracted by cyrus' wacky plan they don't notice cynthia is already familiar with the distortion world and what giratina looks like, or that she's a bit too cute in the way she encourages the player to take arceus to the mystri stage. she's either seen all this before, or been told the information verbatim from someone else who saw it first-hand. cyrus is working off recollections that are.. incomplete
