They really won't allow this franchise to have a coherent universe and a real lore, will they?
Everything has to feel as shallow and retarded as in a Simpsons episode...
It's the same kind of shit as when they create some ebin meme new regional form and don't even bother giving it a fitting previous stage (Galarian Weezing...etc).
This franchise has so much potential for having a cool consistent universe and lore, but its owners would rather treat it like The Simpsons and South Park...

What's the problem with time travel?
We have Dialga, the time Pokémon, celebi (second gen has time travel)and Arceus Is God.
Even the Arceus movie has time travel, It's one of the most natural thing that come to mind when you want to write a story about the Pokémon of the time, why do you have all this problems with It?

I havent looked at the leaks, so that's an honest question.

She definitly isn't Dawn's ancestor, so who is she?
If she's Dawn, why is she called Akari instead of Hikari?
If she's an unrelated character, why does she look like her twin?

When G-Weezing or A-Marowak breed, they pass their genes to the offsprings and thus the first stages should have adapted to the new environment as well.
They made new forms for both stages for the majority of species affected by regional forms, and then just left some shit like G-Weezing and A-Marowak for the sole purpose of annoying people who like consistency (or maybe it was just out of laziness...)

because it ultimately leads to a cheaper story where we don't actually get to see Sinnoh in the past, but a "version" of Sinnoh that's changed by our protag (probably) It's the same reason people don't like Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity's story. You don't build up a game to feature the past and then force time travel in to change that past.

They played the entire idea of the game up as the player being the one to bridge the gap between humans and pokemon and form the basis for the modern trainer-mon relationship.
But now its just a retarded time loop where the player is from a time where it was already commonplace...

Who doesn't like AoC's story? Fuck's sake the best thing about it is what it sets up for the timeline. Zelda team have two Hyrules to set games in now, both taking the same reference point but doing two completely differnt ways.
