graphics aside it's the gameplay i'm worried about
from what we've seen the new shilled "dynamic" gameplay part where you dodge attacks as a trainer is just 1st phase of battle after which you whip out your poke and it goes back to the same turnbased pokemon from 20+ years ago

don't get me wrong, I like that they did something new for once but sudden shift from action to turnbase is gonna be so fucking clunky and it'll make pace go over the place

Bitch you do realize pokemon's title as most lucrative property is BECAUSE of the visual design of the monsters right? The designs are absolutely vital to the franchise and showing them in shit graphics does them dirty. The fuck you think happened to games like TemTem with their garbage ass designs. Game plays better in a lot of ways but Ill be damned if I play a game with what ever the fuck grumper is. Graphics arent everything but they sure as shit make the game better just like shit like music. You could make a point about high fidelity graphical power sure but good art direction at the very least should be the very bare minimum of this franchise given how much it relies on selling its designs.
