The games themselves recieve a very small amount of that revenue due to the fact that the tcg, anime, and other merchandise make up the majority of the revenue that the brand is made up from, no pokemon game has ever made anything close to as much money as most triple A western game, a lot of the money Game Freak gets, has to go into the various amount of localizations, testing, and the other shares that the other companies that own the brand recieve.
