I really did out too much thought into this.
Not only are these some of my favourite mons but they were all chosen to be able to live comfortably with me innawoods and even reflect aspects about myself.
The badges are all from towns nearing forests as though my trainer just happened to bother with the gyms on a forest viewing journey.
I even figured a great place to settle down would be the Berry Forest on Three Island, not just for the almost perpetual availability of food, but that's it's out of the way so no villain team drama.
The worst situation would be a rogue Hypno every now and then but that's something I'd be more than capable of dealing with to the monetary appreciation of the townsfolk.
