i think for once they could try putting less shit in them, maybe make them walk in two feet and make them smaller idk even though that's completely against "Primal" forms since they need to be more overdesigned than the original always

This one is good because it mostly elaborates on Palkia's existing anatomy rather than slapping a bunch of new shit on it. Even the floatly disks are just replacing the shoulders it originally had. New forms should be organic like this, not adding more for the sake of adding more.

I think I get why the forms are really scuffed. Considering we have to probably choose to join the Diamond and Pearl Clan the leader of that team probably is going to forcibly merge that Legend with Arceus to "Make the perfect entity" In the story it's meant to be an abomination since its the result of selfish humans fucking with the balance of things

Kyurem was this but still looked cohesive. it didn't look like somebody just edited kyurem features on a sprite of Zekrom and Reshiram or vice versa. This literally looks like someone look an Arceus model in blender and slapped a Dialga/Palkia head on it and called it a day.

The difference is Kyurem was MEANT to fuse, the entire story behind it and the gen 5 Dragons is that THEY WERE ONE...this is more like taking two things that WEREN'T MEANT TO FUSE and FUSING THEM.

TLDR: Kyurem is a husk, BK and WK are partial bits of a original beast (they are meant to be fused). The two leaked forms are most likely forced to fuse against the laws of nature (they aren't meant to be fused and are forced to for power)

no, Reshiram and Zekrom were one, Kyurem is just a byproduct of those two splitting apart.

That's still different as I said Kyurem is still PART of the original beast. It's listed as a husk meaning its still bits from the original being...in comparsion forcing Dialga and Arceus to fuse against their will leads to an abomination like fusing a cat and a dog in the real world would

This is a very reasonable and expectable explanation but I would have lived better without another Galarian fossils tier set of mons, especially the legendary ones.
And there was already a Type Null and Silvally Arceus experiment not so long ago too.

That's fair I'm not trying to excuse the design but I feel the look is somewhat intentional. People can still hate it even knowing what it's going for. For me I think they're bad though I'm guessing the final boss will be killing it to unfuse the DP legend and Arceus...also I'm slightly concerned this might mean you could only get to fight one depending on which clan you join
