When you make kino fakemon, you automatically copyright it, preventing Nintendo/Creatures/GF/TPCi from using it without getting a lawyer involved to formally transfer the rights, which is too expensive for them to want to bother with. Each fan design, bit by bit, reduces their sphere of creative freedom.
