Hisuian Braviary is a lock: getting an updated form of an old favorite based on a superior species is amazing. I got to see a wild Steller’s Sea-Eagle for the first time earlier this month, and I’m stoked to fly around on the Hisuian hang glider next week. Esper Wing also sounds fantastic.
Basculegion and Ursaluna are also top choices because salmon and bears round out the theme of Hokkaido wildlife. The whole North Pacific eco region from Russia to Alaska is awesome and its cool to see it get some love with these new Pokémon.
Decidueye was my favorite of the starters to begin with, and the new variant looks neat. Autumn colors make a lot of sense for the name and I now wish they’d used them for the Ghost-type original. Arcanine is probably the choice I’m next most interested in, and then I guess Goodra?
