Dialga would look better if the hind legs were also what the front ones were, insead of the massive Kyurem wings. Same for Palkia, the front portions/legs kinda ruin it.

Maybe they whole "eldritch abomination angel" aesthetic is what they were going for though, but it could've been handled better than this.

I think the main reason you, and most people, are having a major problem with these ugly forms, is that everyone has been expected some sort of like "ascended true god" form for the Sinnoh legendaries since ORAS came out, these are not those, they are likely some sort of plot related fusion abomination like Necrozma and Kyurem, not "true" forms of the sinnoh legendaries in any way.

I mean, I don't know the storyline of the game, but what if that is quite literally the case? Japan quite often makes godlike figures into weird ugly eldritch horrors, and pokemon has always treated the creation trio, and arceus specifically, with a sorta ominous air to them.
I could easily be proven wrong by the actual story, but as is I see them as something from Evangelion.
