true! I think the main problem is that a lot of the weaker designs are the ones that were saved for the full release. and whoever is designing the legendaries like the calyrex ride forms and the arceus fusions needs to be taken out back and shot. get the people that designed the new regis and the galarian birds to do the new legendaries.

last game i played was usum, didn't quite care for it and didnt beat it.
I saw sm but i was a jobless fuck in highschool so i didnt play it. last game i beat was y. So i havent played a game in almost 5 years and the last game i beat was in 2013.
this game looks different to the shlock we usually get and if it's just botw but with pokemon that's fine by me. i'm not gonna bother with the mess that is bdsp and swsh just didn't appeal to me. i dont think its that controversial that someone doesn't like the last few games we have gotten

The game has fuck all to do, the roster is very small, the new forms are mostly misses, the small maps are very empty and the visuals are sub-par. There are a lot of issues with the game even if it does go in a different direction and I can't justify dishing out 60 bucks on the very few aspects I like.
