Hot take: I don't think H-Typhlosion is actually bad at all. It's actually genuinely decent! It's just the other two are absolutely amazing.

I've settled on it being a sort of priestess/shrine maiden yokai mon and really that fits just fine. They are all well enough for the setting.

Pretty much this. My general consensus is Decidueye > Samurott > Typhlosion, and I was really looking forward to Typhlosion too. Could’ve looked better but it’s not bad at all, definitely still very much likable. But the other two are pretty kino, aesthetic wise, for what the theme of the region is.

It's actually awful but apologists like you will always exist, so whatever

The other two aren't "amazing", it's just that, unlike for Typhlosion, the regular form they're based on is already garbage so they aren't really worse

Decidueye looks like skull kid now,not sure how people see Typhlosion as Feminine now.
still not buying it though unless i can evolve a Quilava from older games into H typhlosion
