Honestly this would be a cool development. Take a break from constantly moving into new generations and just use the currently existing Pokemon and make interesting new games with them, and add a few new forms and evolutions along the way. I won't be even slightly disappointed if this is followed by another remake, then another Legends game for that remake's region. Give me a new GSC/HGSS remake along with Legends: Celebi. Or an XY remake followed by Legends: Zygarde.

i'm completely fine with this. Maybe like 10 new, really creative, actually interesting non-filler mons a gen, and then a bunch of new regional forms and new branching evolutions for older mons. Makes it easier to model going forward, too.
