I could see guts being somewhat of a bluff for a more defensive set. While Guts is still probably better you're less likely ro be statused due to your opponent keeping that in the back of their head and not wanting to turn you into a 210 Atker. Meanwhile you could wait for them to click aura sphere/focus blast/energy ball some of the most common coverage moves to hit it for SE to hit them hard as even with little investiment 140 does solid damage especially on frailer mons

Too broken with moves affecting the PC now too. You just spam EQ in the field to win and kill everything on the screen then it defeats the prupose of making the battles more dynamic.

Maybe it'll be revamped should it return in the future.
