Dialga-Lord: Radiant light caused Dialga to take on a form bearing a striking resemblance to the creator Pokémon. Dialga now wields such colossal strength that one must conclude this is its true form.Palkia-Lord: It soars across the sky in a form that greatly resembles the creator of all things. Perhaps this imitation of appearance is Palkia’s strategy for gaining Arceus’s powers.

Avalugg-Hisuian: The armor of ice covering its lower jaw puts steel to shame and can shatter rocks with ease. This Pokémon barrels along steep mountain paths, cleaving through the deep snow.

And isn't it listed in the dex as female? The professor is just noting that its incarnate form exhibits features that would be regarded as feminine in a human, that has no relation to it being of the female sex as a creature.

I love ecology info like this in the Dex entries. This is exactly how a sea-eagle with mind powers would behave. They’re the kind of predators that are incredibly powerful and agile but frequently use that impressive speed and strength to snatch food from smaller predators and monopolize easy meals like large carcasses or masses of small prey.

People seem to fail to understand that in modern times the pokedex basically does a google search of the pokemon in question and then shows it to you. The modern-day professors don't NEED you to get information about the characteristics of local pokémon and write in the dex, that kind of information is already available due to the work people like Laventon have been doing for centuries. They just want you to catch or at least record the pokemon so they can study it up close.

This has always been what I thought. There is no way just catching a Pokémon would give the Pokédex enough info to write a dex. That kind of thing would only be able to shown after actually observing the Pokémon.
