Stop it. In the Bible angels are strictly "messengers of God" and their appearance is described as "basically men" (Mark 16:5, Gen 18). The bizarre "angels" are the Cherubim described by Ezekeil 1 as "In appearance their form was human, but each of them had four faces and four wing..." but strictly speaking they are not angels as they are *not* messengers of God.

Our modern depiction of angels along with the whole ranks of the heavenly host are a later traditions that do not originate from the Bible. Our whole view point of angels with ranks comes from the De Coelesti Hierarchia from the 5th century AD.

Whether those are their original forms from when the universe was created, or just them cosplaying as Arceus to become more powerful, is unknown.

It pays to point out how wrong that whole dialogue is. The funny thing that in the Bible angels have no wings, they look just like humans. Early Christian depiction of angels show them with no wings. Not until Konstantine and the incorporation of Christianity into the Roman Empire that you start seeing angels depicted as winged humans, very likely taking heavy inspiration from the depiction of the Greek Nike. In short you start to see Greco-Roman imagery incorporate itself into Christianity.

Someone suggested on another thread that maybe Dialga has some sort of protuberance blocking its throat, rendering it unable to use Roar of Time. Similarly, Palkia wouldn't be able to use Spacial Rend without its claws. But I haven't seen any confirmation of this.

Part of the problem is that they're so clearly designed to be easy to convert from models to toys. They look like they're made of plastic already. Dialga especially has so little texture to it and has gradients that you would expect on a cheap plastic toy, while having curves and a lack of polygons that fall into those same commonalities with toys. Just garbage.
