After a three year abstinence I'm in the mood for a Pokemon game again to keep me occupied till Elden Ring. I just want to know if it's ok, or if it''s going to infuriate me like everything else Pokemon shat out on the Switch (minus Snap maybe). Honest answers please.

question, since I haven't been following the recent leaks until now:

Is there anything to do in PL:A after you beat the story? Is there something like a Battle Facility (your typical Battle Tower knockoff) or Master Trainers like in LGPE?

Is there ANY actual content in this game, outside of catching the same Pokemon 1 million times?

Sofar, I know there is Trainer Customization and the ability to take pictures with your Pokemon. Is that all?

ORAS is better than every 3D main series Pokemon game except for Gen 7, IMO. I've only played a few hours of PLA and it bores me. I'm not much of a fan of the new Hisui Pokemon either. I know people here prefer regionals to Megas and I do for some like the Alolan regionals, Galarian Mr. Mime, and Galarian Corsola, but these Hisuian forms are just ugly IMO.

In regard to LGPE, it's hard to decide if it's worse or not. I'll have to finish PLA first before judging. I wasn't much of a fan of LGPE because even the starting of LGPE pissed me off. As soon as I reached the Pewter gym I was essentially forced to have a Pokemon with type advantage, which only makes the battle easier. You're also given the option to blatantly skip the first two trainers by walking around them. It was as if the game was forcibly babying me. I've only played a few hours of PLA on emulator, but PLA has felt tedious so far and the fact that they included only around 240 Pokemon yet considered it important to the entire alphabet soup of Unown and their shiny forms has left a bad taste in my mouth. It's like Milcery in SwSh but worse. I'll reserve my judgement until I've played it in full though.

Legends takes a long time to get out of the tutorial phase, but afterward it's basically Let's Go with wild battles and the occasional boss fight that totally changes up the mechanics.
