Is it possible to get a shiny starter in Legends Arceus just by abusing resets? How long does each reset take? I might want to shiny hunt but I'm curious as to how tedious it is.

It's possible but would be taking some time. You would need to go through the entire intro cutscene and hope they show the shiny during the first cutscence, which already take a few minutes every reset. IF they are not shiny locked which we don't know.

I don't think dataminers have amything yet but there is a sidequest that guarantees a shiny Ponyta spawn and a lot of people have been getting random shinies. The rate may HIV been increased overall.
